Valentine Hanging Box

Can I tell you how much I LOVE this project?? This was a "Shelli project" at convention, and believe it or not, goes together rather quickly. A box is fashioned by adding 'wings' to the heart from the "Always" set. Fold the 'wings' under. Make this twice, and fit the 2 together to form the box.

Does that make sense????? (Being a visual person, I'm not sure that it does.....)

Pull Card

Will they make the field goal?? Pull the ribbon and see!
This is a 'Pull Card'. See the grosgrain on either side of the card? Pull that, and the ball slides across the card. Way cool.
Happy Super Bowl Sunday!

Another Layout from Saturday's Camp

Another one of the layouts we did Saturday night. The snowflakes are made using both of the tag punches to make a 'tag frame', and then gluing 8 frames onto vellum. Square parts of the frames are cut off, leaving you with a snowflake.

Holiday Punch Art/12x12 Scrap Layout

One of our layouts from Scrap Camp tonight. Looove this punch art! And ever since seeing this stop sign in the set "It's a Sign", I knew this was what I wanted to make with it.

Valentine 12x12 layout

The border and heart backgrounds are done using the smoosh-smash technique. (Place droplets of reinkers on one half of an acetate sheet. Close the sheet and smoosh the colors around. Open, and place white cardstock face-side-down on your colors.) This is a fun technique! Hearts from "Always" stamp set are then white-embossed and cut out.
