Card Organizer

This is the card organizer which will be a part of Sunday's camp. You will have your choice of decorative papers to use.

The organizer book contains 12 pages, each with pockets....one page for each month of the year.

On each pocket, there is a place for you to keep track of that month's special days.

Then, as you make cards at camps, you can slip them in the appropriate pocket until it's time to send them. A great way to get organized and keep track of which cards you want to send to which special person on your list!

Scrapbook Page Elements

I belong to a great scrapbook elements swap group called Hot Swappin' Mamas. Each month, each swapper chooses 1 element to make, and then makes 10 of those elements to send in. Elements such as pahe titles, borders, journaling blocks, etc. For December, my element was 3D items. This is what I came up with. Everything is made using only Stampin' Up! materials. Notice the fire in the fireplace-the logs are made with the Word Window punch and the fire is made using the 5 petal flower punch.

Scrapbooking

Here is a 12x12 scrapbook layout that we made at Scrap Camp this past fall. The folded flowers are made using circles punched from Stampin' Up! designer paper. The swirls come from the Baroque Motifs stamp set (one of my favs!). At Scrap Camp, the ladies make 3 different spreads all in one sitting. Sorry this one isn't a Christmas theme to share, although these same pages are gorgeous done in Christmas colors!

Beth's Knee Surgery

A little aside from stamping. In the middle of all the Christmas madness, my daughter Beth had knee surgery yesterday. Hopefully this will take away the pain with which she has been living for the past few years. Obviously she's still under the influence of the anesthesia in this picture! She's doing ok. Bored out of her mind being bed-ridden, and anxious to feel the beneficial results.

Etched Glass Plate

Not the best background under the plate, but hopefully you can see well enough. We made these at a Christmas Gifts class. You emboss your images right on the glass, and then use etching medium over the area. Just another great way to use your stamps!

CD Folder Scrapbook

CD FOLDER SCRAPBOOK

Here is a picture of the cover of the cd folder scrapbook we made a few weeks ago. Can I tell you how much I LOVE this little scrapbook?! So did everyone else! There will be a 2nd chance to make one in January-watch for details! Here's a sneak peak of the inside:

There are pull-out pieces in the middle of the page-extra room for pictures or journaling!
I first saw these albums on the Scrapbook Lounge web site. They are just the coolest! More inside pics tomorrow.

Advent Calendar

Here is the advent calendar we made at the camp last weekend. I know it's hard to see in the blog post, but if you click on the picture, you'll get a much bigger view. Check out the sleigh 2nd down on the left! I created this with the Designer Label and Word Window punches! The calendar is made on artist's canvas, so it is very sturdy! The tins are approximately 2" in diameter and 3/4" deep. I know I, for one, will cherish this as an heirloom for many years to come.
