Another Scrap Element

The title bar-done with Sizzix Serif Essentials Alphabet, one of the items at the top of my wish list! I've seen it used on so many pretty things. Title also uses the new large brads.

It's Christmastime!

Not really, of course; but it sure does feel like it to me! Can you hear my squeals of delight??!
Remember my robin journaling block post? I told you that I belong to a scrapbook page elements swap group; that I made the journaling blocks and would get different elements back in return.
Well, my swap came today, and I am DELIGHTED!!
What you see here are 3 tags to put on your spring scrap page. LOVE THEM! This top one uses the Stampin' Up! Cherry Blossom embosslit, AND the Stampin' Up! Backgrounds 1 texturz plate.

The second one uses the new flower brads....
and the "Good Friend" stamp set.

And THIS last one?? Uses the new "Cheep Talk" stamp set on pg 90. Now, can I tell you, my customers are always telling me how I can talk them into needing stamp sets they didn't originally like by the items we make at camps. Well, that's what this tag did to me! I now have to have this set! Are you kidding me? Look at the bird in the nest! This whole tag just screams spring to me.

I have no idea who the talented lady is that made these, because the sign-up database was taken down. But I'd like to thank her for adding to my wish list......

More elements tomorrow!

Happy St Patrick's Day!

Are you wearing green today?? ;)
Part of this 12x12 page spread is a CASE of a card done by Zindorf. Have you ever visited her gallery at SplitCoast?? AMAZING! I took one of her cards and made it into a scrap page.
The page layout was intended to house pictures of my kids, thus the title "Lucky to Have Colorful You". The picture mats have words stamped on them pertaining to different aspects of their personalities.
A lucky page doesn't just have to be pertaining to what you did on St Patty's Day. ;)

Any sign of Spring?

I belong to a wonderful scrapbooking elements swap group on yahoogroups called HotSwappinMamas. Each month we pick an element to make and send in, and then we receive several different elements back. This was my swap for this month's Spring swap. It's a journal block made with the Stampin Up! leaves sizzlits, and a robin made from punches. The chalkboard technique is used to make the robin's belly (we'll be learning this technique at Stamp Camp on Sunday).
Even though I like winter, I'm ready for a taste of spring!

I love to take little goodies work on special days; this is one such goody. Quick and easy! Patty is made entirely from punches-circle, tag, oval and scallop circle.

Flip Album

Better late than never, I suppose!
Here are pics of just some of the pages in the Flip Album we will be making Saturday night. Another mini scrapbook album; and can I tell you? LOVE this one! There are an additional three 6x6 pages and six 3x6 pages to the album which are not pictured here. You're welcome to title your album differently should you so choose.
